Betrayed

I read a book called "Betrayed" by P.C. Cast + Kristen Cast. It is part of a series called "The House Of Night". I read this book because I really liked the first book and was interested so i read the second book. I also read it because the cover was very cool. I got a little frustrated at some points and one point where i actually cried for 20 minuets! One of the main characters, and my favorite character died and i got very mad. I also got frustrated when i found some things out but i don't want to say because it will give the book away. In the first book when something else happened i got very frustrated and wanted to scream at the book but then i stopped myself. Some things that are going well is that i have almost finished the series. I am waiting for the last book to come out so i can read it. I actually finished the fourth book in the series, "Untamed" which was very good. I finished it over Christmas Break.
The characters in this series are: Zoey (vampyre fledgling and leader of the Dark Daughters), Heath (human ex-boyfriend of Zoey who still loves her), Stevie Rae (okie vampyre fledgling who is best friends with Zoey). There is also: Shaunee (vampyre fledgling and part of the "Nerd Herd"), Erin (vampyer fledgling and also a member of the "Nerd Herd"), Erik Night (vampyre fledgling and one of Zoey's ex-boyfriends). There are so many more characters that i could name but that would take all day. The series takes place in Tulsa, Oklahoma at a "special" school called "The House of Night". There the students learn the ways of the Goddess Nyx and learn about their duties as children of Her. Their day is switched around because Vampyre's don't like the sun, so they have school from 8:00pm to 3:00 am. Then the rest of the day is taken up with sleeping and hanging with other fledglings. One of the major conflicts in the book is that Zoey is the new leader of the Dark Daughters and Aphrodite, the "hag from hell" (that's what Erin and Shaunee call her in the book) is mad because she used to be the leader. So then something else happens and Zoey kind of goes into shock and has a hard time recovering. I'm not going to say because it will give away a lot of the rest of the series. Then Zoey finds out that Neferet (the High Priestess of the House of Night Tulsa), is not on her side of anything. So pretty much Neferet is against the ways of the Goddess. So Zoey must find the courage to face a betrayal that could break her heart, her soul, and jeopardize the very fabric of her world, because human teenagers are being killed and all of the evidence points to the House of Night.

I have read some really good books in the last year or so. Some of the books I have read were, the TWILIGHT SERIES, MARKED, OF MICE AND MEN, NIGHT, MY SISTER'S KEEPER, and lots more. My favorite would have to be MY SISTER'S KEEPER. Sometimes I like to read with a cup of hot chocolate and a blanket by the fire side. Or sometimes I like to read in bed under the covers. Another place i like to read is in a tree with the nature surrounding you. I sometimes like to read but it depends on the book really.
